Bulk Add Workouts

Bulk Add lets you schedule workouts that repeat on a pattern — like a hangboard session every Monday and Thursday, or a strength workout twice a week for the next month. Instead of adding the same workout manually to each day, set the pattern once and let Sequence fill in your calendar.

Bulk Add is available in both the Planner and in coaching Templates.

When to Use Bulk Add

Bulk Add is ideal for:

  • Recurring sessions — Weekly hangboard, regular strength training
  • Training blocks — Schedule a 4-week programme in one go
  • Client programmes — Quickly populate a client’s calendar with structured training

Using Bulk Add

Open the day actions

Click on a day in the Planner or within a Template to open the day actions panel.

Click Bulk Add

Select Bulk Add to open the bulk scheduling form.

Select workout(s)

Choose the workout you want to schedule. You can also enable Multi Add mode to select multiple workouts — all selected workouts will be added to each occurrence in the pattern.

Set repeat frequency

Choose how often the workout repeats (e.g., every 1 week, every 2 weeks).

Select days of the week

Tick the days when the workout should occur (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

Set the end condition

Choose when the pattern should stop:

  • End date — Schedule until a specific date
  • Number of occurrences — Add a set number of sessions
  • Number of weeks — Run for a specific number of weeks

Apply

Click the button to create all the scheduled workouts at once.

Multi Add with Bulk Add

When you need multiple workouts on the same recurring pattern, enable Multi Add within the Bulk Add form:

  1. Click the Multi Add button below the workout selector
  2. Select multiple workouts from the dropdown
  3. All selected workouts will be added to every occurrence in your pattern

This is useful for days that always include the same combination, like morning mobility plus evening climbing.

Examples

Weekly Hangboard Session

  • Select your hangboard workout
  • Set repeat every 1 week
  • Select Tuesday and Friday
  • Set end date to 8 weeks from now
  • Result: 16 hangboard sessions scheduled

Two-a-Day Training Block

  • Enable Multi Add and select both “Morning Mobility” and “Evening Strength”
  • Set repeat every 1 week
  • Select Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Set to run for 4 weeks
  • Result: Both workouts scheduled on MWF for 4 weeks

Client Strength Programme

  • In Coach Mode, open a client’s planner
  • Use Bulk Add to schedule their strength workout
  • Set to repeat twice weekly for 6 weeks
  • The client sees all sessions on their calendar

Tips

  • Start from the right day — Bulk Add uses the selected day as the starting point
  • Check the pattern — Preview what days will be affected before applying
  • Use with templates — Bulk Add works in templates too, making it easy to build reusable programmes
  • Multi Add saves time — For complex training days, add all workouts in one pattern
