Events
Events in Sequence allow you to track significant events that have some relationship to your climbing. These could be competitions, climbing trips, injuries, or any other notable activities that impact your climbing journey.
What are Events?
Events are time-based entries that help you document important climbing-related activities and their context. Unlike workouts which track training sessions, events capture broader experiences that influence your climbing progression.
Creating Events
To create an event, navigate to your calendar view and click on extra menu (3 dot icon) and select “Events”.

Then select the “New Event” button.

When creating an event you can specify:

Name - What is the event called? Be descriptive to help you remember the context.
Date Range - Date of the event.
Event Type
- Competition
- Trip
- Injury Recovery
- Other

Description - Detailed notes about the event. Include outcomes, learnings, or any relevant details.
Countdown Display - Show a countdown to the event on the calendar.

Enable count up - Show a count up to the event on the calendar. Useful for tracking recovery after injuries or monitoring progress.

Managing Events
Once created, events appear on your calendar and will be shown/editable from the “Events” page. You can:
- View event details by clicking on the event
- Edit events by selecting “Edit Event” from the options menu
- Delete events if they’re no longer relevant
Events on the calendar
Once events are created they will be shown on the calendar and be visible based on the event settings.

Events integrate with your training data to provide a complete picture of your climbing journey, helping you understand how different activities and experiences contribute to your progression.
