Rest Days
Rest is essential for progression. Sequence tracks rest days to help you monitor recovery and prevent overtraining.
How Rest Days Work
Sequence counts a day as rest when:
- No workouts are completed that day, OR
- You explicitly mark it as a Rest Day
You can complete light activities (rehab, stretching, cardio) and still mark the day as rest if those don’t count as training load for you.
Marking a Rest Day
Click On the day you would like to mark as a rest day, then within the modal select the Rest day button.
The day will not have a rest day icon and be styled differently to indicate it is a rest day. To remove it, reverse the process of adding it. Click on the day and then click the Rest day button.
Rest Days in Metrics
Rest day counts appear throughout Sequence metrics, helping you understand your training to recovery ratio.
Plan rest days in advance when building your training schedule. You can always adjust them as needed.
