Metrics

Metrics gives you a comprehensive view of your training data. Analyse your progress across exercises, custom measures, logbooks, and more. Use Metrics to spot trends, track improvements, and make data-driven decisions about your training.

Accessing Metrics

Go to Metrics from the sidebar. The Metrics section includes several views:

  • Snapshot — Overview of recent training activity
  • Exercises — Track progress on specific exercises over time
  • Incomplete — See reasons for incomplete workouts
  • Measures — View trends in your custom measures
  • Selects — Analyse select widget data
  • Sliders — Track slider widget trends
  • Logbooks — View climbing statistics and grade pyramids

Snapshot

The Snapshot view gives you a quick overview of your recent training, including completed workouts, training load, and key metrics.

Exercises

The Exercises view shows your progress on individual exercises over time. Track:

  • Weight progression
  • Rep improvements
  • Volume trends
  • Personal records

Filter by exercise to see detailed history and charts.

Custom Measures

View trends in any custom measures you’ve tracked, such as:

  • Body weight
  • Finger strength
  • Campus board reaches
  • Any other numeric data you log

Logbooks

If you use the Logbook widget, view your climbing statistics:

  • Grade pyramids
  • Send rates
  • Volume over time
  • Ascent style breakdown

Filtering Data

Most Metrics views let you filter by:

  • Date range
  • Specific metrics or exercises
  • Categories or types

Tips

  • Check regularly — Review metrics weekly to spot trends early
  • Look for patterns — Correlate performance with training load, sleep, or other factors
  • Track consistently — The more data you log, the more useful metrics become
  • Use date ranges — Compare different training phases
