Workout Categories

Categories help you organise workouts by type making it easier to track and analyse training patterns. Assign colours to visually identify workout types in charts and lists.

Managing Categories

On the Workouts page, open the menu and select Edit Categories to view and manage your categories.

Creating a Category

Click Add New Category

Find the button on the Categories page.

Enter details

  • Name — Descriptive label (e.g., “Strength Training”, “Board Climbing”)
  • Colour — Visual identifier for charts and lists

Save

Click save to create your category.

Choose distinct colours that are easy to differentiate in charts. Use meaningful names that reflect your actual training style.

Editing and Deleting

  • Edit — Click the edit icon next to any category to update name or colour
  • Delete — Remove categories you no longer need

When you delete a category, all workouts using it move to “None”. This cannot be undone. The default “None” category cannot be edited or deleted.

Default Categories

New accounts include pre-defined categories as a starting point:
