Workout Media

Workout media lets you attach images and videos directly to scheduled workouts. Capture beta sequences, record attempts, document conditions, or save progress photos alongside your training notes.

Workout media attachments are currently rolling out. If you don’t see the upload buttons, this feature will be available to your account soon.

Supported Formats

Each workout has a 10 MB total limit shared across all attachments. You can add any mix of images and videos within this budget.

Adding Media to a Workout

Open your scheduled workout

Go to the Planner and click on a scheduled workout to open the workout modal.

Find the Training Notes section

Scroll to the Training Notes area where you add workout notes.

Add an image or video

Click Add image or Add video and select a file from your device.

Wait for upload

The file uploads directly to secure storage. You’ll see a progress indicator while uploading.

View your attachment

Once uploaded, images and videos appear in a media grid below your notes. Click an image to view it full-size in a lightbox.

⚠️

You cannot complete or update a workout while media is uploading. Wait for all uploads to finish before clicking Complete Workout or Update.

Viewing Media

In Workout Details

Attachments display in a grid within the workout modal. Images show a thumbnail you can click to open a full-size lightbox with navigation arrows for multiple images. Videos include playback controls.

In Coaching Messages

When you add media to a workout, it automatically appears in the activity comment visible to your coach. Coaches see your attachments alongside any training notes you’ve written. This works even if you leave the notes field empty — an attachment-only comment will still sync to your coach.

Removing Media

To remove an attachment:

  1. Open the scheduled workout
  2. Hover over the attachment (on desktop) or locate the remove button
  3. Click the trash icon to delete

Removed attachments are permanently deleted from storage.

Deleting a workout that has attachments will show a confirmation prompt, since attachments count as recorded workout data.
